Frankly, I am sick and tired of our Christian Civil Rights being trampled. As the U.S Constitution makes clear, our rights come from God and not man. As is common in a Satanic attack words and their meaning are distorted and their meaning confused. Such is the case with the U.S. Constitution.
Unless you've been isolated from society you have seen many instances of attacks by Atheists, often coming from the Civil Liberty Union and other groups. They are opposed to any mention of God, especially in schools or in the Government. They often refer to what's called The Establishment Clause in the Constitution. That's where it says Congress has no power to squelch or create a religious organization or stifle the rights of Free Speech. The enemies of God have misquoted this "clause" by making the claim that Religion is forbidden in any aspect related to the Government. Because Schools are regulated by the Government these 'enemies of God' have historically concentrated their attacks in the Schools. The Liberal Supreme Court has even upheld the removal of the 10 Commandments from schools and government property.
My purpose here is not to rehash all the instances of anti-Christian efforts and their results. My purpose is to encourage you to redirect some of your Evangelistic efforts from foreign lands to focus them right here at home. These enemies of God are in the Minority but the courts have treated them as if they were the majority. These folks are attempting to remove any mention of God everywhere, from government to public assemblies and sporting events. And they are succeeding!!
Thankfully there are many Christian legal or advocacy organizations that are taking these anti-Christian folks to court and often winning their case. There is a great need to support these pro-Christian groups with money and prayers. But don't depend on them to protect your rights as you have a responsibility to do your part. As Christians we have turned every cheek available and now it's time to fight back!!
We need to create protests and advocacy groups at the local level - turn the Enemies own tactics against them, fight fire with fire! Afraid of being arrested or showing up on the local TV news? The Apostle Paul wasn't so what reason do you have to 'hide' when the enemies attack us? If we're the Army of God we need to put on His whole Armor and get into the battle. We have no excuse!
