A Muslim America

Will the USA become a Muslim nation? If events in other nations are any indication the answer is Yes. I hesitate to use the term Militant Islam - not to be confused with Islamic Terrorists - but that’s the best title to give this worldwide conversion plan. This is not a recent occurrence as Muslims have been quietly ‘conquering’ nations around the globe for decades. Though, unlike Christians, they are not using a visible Missionary approach. They are accomplishing their goal by the migration of Imams and Muslim believers from the Mid-East to nations all around the world. The United States is 38th among nations with Muslim populations. The Imams are planting or strengthening Mosques in target nations and the ‘believers’ are establishing Islamic enclaves within these countries under the guise of seeking ‘a better life’ and improved economic opportunities. If you doubt this then you’ve not been paying attention to news reports from around the world. This is real!
What makes this almost ‘transparent’ is these immigrants come from many countries and not necessarily from the Mid-East; Africa and Indonesia along with Northern Africa are good examples. Wherever they settle they create a Muslim community and, if one doesn't’ already exist, a Mosque or suitable place of worship is established. For instance, Hamtramck, Michigan " ... has a large Muslim contingent. In fact, Hamtramck broadcasts the Islam call to prayer from loudspeakers five times daily.") Also, reported in the August/September issue of World Missionary Press News, "More than 300,000 Muslims visit Dearborn, Michigan, for an annual Arabic Festival.". Muslims are, for some reason attracted to Michigan; Dearborn and Hamtramck are suburbs of Detroit. (Update: "Dearborn - population 100,000 - has 10 mosques in the area, more than any other city of comparable size... People of Middle Eastern origin make up a third of the population; public schools close for Muslim holidays...." The American Muslim Center led by Imam Mohamed Mardini occupys a former Bible church. These Mosques serve as the training ground for fundamentalist teachings and the radicalization of Islam. The underlying ‘goal’ is to ‘convert’ their new ‘home’ into a nation governed by Islamic teachings and their strict Quaranic Law called, Sharia. The interpretation of this Law is the jurisdiction of the Imams, not the political powers in Muslim nations; for example – Iran where the power rests in the hands of the Imams. The current ‘insurgency’ in Iraq is essentially a battle between two sects of Islam – Shiites’ and Sunnis’; they cannot get along any better than the Catholics and Protestants in Ireland. Fundamentalism is a feature of Religion that, unchecked, creates a dangerous situation wherever it gains a foothold. The conflict in Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan and other nations, where Islamists are involved in war or war like activity, is proof positive their goal is not co-existence with people of other religious or political beliefs. These conflicts are not political ‘situations’ they are out-right religious war, or as they call it Jihad. To think otherwise is blind ignorance.
So why is this a negative situation for America? Simply put most Americans are at best nominal Christians and all too accepting of other religions – it’s part of our Constitutional ‘rights’ and a tenet of our pluralistic society. The acceptance of all who have a ‘faith’, though not necessarily the one you have, is a bedrock of Freedom’s principals; particularly in a Democratic society. This is all well and good provided the purveyors of these religious beliefs only seek to convert others to their Faith by peaceful means. This, however, is not how Islam works. It’s a ‘convert or die’ situation, and if you’re a Muslim, you do not have the freedom to convert to any other religion; if you do you receive the penalty of death. Simply put the adherents of Islam are on a Crusade to convert the world to their beliefs, and in extreme cases they do not hesitate to murder the ‘infidels’ to get their point across. If you doubt this you have not been paying attention to the conflicts in nations where Islam is gaining a foothold or advancing its influence. So what about America?
As a nation of ‘equal treatment and opportunity’ America is a prime target for this Muslim movement that is being funded and backed by oil rich nations in the Middle East like Saudi Arabia. The first step is to increase the number of believers, by conversion or immigration. The second is to establish Mosques in which they teach their fundamentalist views and principals. The third is to encourage ‘activism’ by believers in the social and political areas where they live. In a country where the principals of Democracy are adhered to this provides them with a non-violent means of creating the kind of society they want to achieve – one governed by the Quran as it is interpreted by the Imams. In many major U.S. cities the Muslim community is gaining political power and getting their candidates elected to public office. Muslim leaders understand the principal of ‘grass roots’ political and social activity. Hezbollah’s success and power in Lebanon is a perfect example.
Further, in commerce they insist on exercising their civil rights by imposing their belief system on Americans. Examples of this are cashiers at check-out counters refusing to handle anything that violates their beliefs, such as handling products made of Pork. Taxi drivers refusing to take passengers who are carrying alcohol in their baggage or packages. In the workplace, as far as the Muslim employees are concerned, their dress code supercedes that of the business owner. Americans have, traditionally, endeavored to look alike by wearing common forms of attire, to fit in so to speak, Muslims do not do this.
Another major objective is to establish businesses owned, or operated by, Islamic believers so funding of these ‘gaining power’ goals can prosper. It is a fact that a great deal of financial activity supporting these fundamentalists is illegal and the U.S. government is cracking down and turning off the ‘flow’. But wait, before you paint me as an Alarmist consider the following as reported in USA Today on Friday March 24 2006, page 1a & 2a – quoted in part below.
The article by Jill Lawrence of USA Today is headlined “American Muslims gaining a foothold in politics”. The first paragraph of the story states, “The mayor of nearby Prospect Park is a 30-year-old high school business teacher with a young son. He was a volunteer firefighter at 18 and has been active in his community ever since. But when he sought the mayor’s office last fall, voters received anonymous fliers calling him a ‘betrayer’ tied to the 9/11 terrorists. Why? Because he is a Syrian-born Muslim named Mohamed Khairullah.”. According to Jill, “..., the 9/11 attacks jolted Muslims into realizing that they needed to make themselves known to their neighbors and heard by their government. They are voting, running for office and getting more involved in civic and political life at every level, from PTA’s and school boards to town councils and state legislatures. At least two – Texas Republicans Amir Omar and Ahmad Hassan – are running for U.S. Congress.”. Obviously this is American Freedom at its best. Christians and non-Christians need to get involved in political activity at the grass roots level. If we fail to vote you can be sure the Muslims will not miss the chance. Organizing and voting is something immigrants have done for centuries to make a place for them in the American social fabric. Democracy in action!
It is important to understand what’s happening isn’t simply a case of becoming a good American Citizen. Rather, it is an organized movement, fostered by Islamic leaders, to replace our religious beliefs with theirs - thereby taking away the Constitutional right to Freedom from Religion. According to MS Lawrence, “The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which promotes Muslim political activity, has opened 23 of its 31 U.S. chapters since 9/11. In the 2004 election, two studies found, one in five Muslim voters were first-time voters. … The large-scale entry of Muslims into public life is not only testing the courage of Muslims candidates and the tolerance of voters. It’s also prompting politicians to take notice of a community that has a growing clout and is open to appeals from both parties.”. Under the heading, “Could decide close races”, MS Lawrence points out that, “American Muslims are hard to count. Many immigrants have Muslim names, but African-American Muslims often don’t. For example, one of the highest-ranking Muslim officials in the country is North Carolina state senator Larry Shaw.”. The ‘enemy’ is not easy to identify!
The article I refer to is quite lengthy and there is not room, nor can I take more of your time, to repeat all its important information regarding the subject I am addressing. However, I feel it is important to at least include the following. “Based on tallies of mosque membership and Muslim names, several national organizations estimate there are 4.5 million to 6 million American Muslims. Most live in a dozen big states, giving them the potential to make a difference in tight races." Aslam Abdullah, editor of the weekly Muslim Observer newspaper, says there are about 15 close races for Congress in districts where Muslims are concentrated and could cast decisive votes. Mosques, numbering more than 1,200 across the country, are ‘the grassroots center of our political empowerment,’ Assaf says. "They hold voter-registration drives and policy discussions. They invite candidates to speak, offering access to large crowds at Friday prayers.”. You must understand that their intent is to replace the Constitution with the Koran as the rule of law. The reality is - our cherished way of life is under attack. If you think America is ‘safe’ from this Islamist goal you are a fool! Open your eyes and look at all the current activity to remove any mention of God or Jesus from our schools, public places (no matter how historical), and any and all existences or references to the God the Founding Fathers were so careful to place into our social fabric and laws. Whether you believe in a God or not, Christian or not, won’t matter if the Islamists succeed – in their society you either believe or die. We don’t execute Atheists, but they do!
While their intentions may not be readily apparent – unless you’re paying attention – you need to look to Africa and Europe, especially the United Kingdom, for examples of what happens when a large part of the population are Muslims. According to Greg Mundis, Regional Director for Europe of a large American denomination, “A dramatic shift in Europe’s ethnic makeup is fueling and equally dramatic shift in many region’s majority faith. Majority religions [read Islam] from Africa and Asia are rapidly supplanting Europe’s traditional, though nominal, Christian culture. Where many Europeans who claim a Christian heritage barely adhere to any expression of faith, these new majority faiths are active. In some instances they are aggressively anti-Christian.” Where Europe is today is where America will soon be if we fail to take action to protect our way of life. If you think I’m making all this up just open your eyes and pay attention! Your Freedoms are in danger! Let me make one thing very clear – I am not advocating ‘reverse terrorism’. What I want to encourage is civic and political involvement by citizens who say they hold our way of life near and dear to their hearts. Indeed, actions do speak louder than words. Are you going to act or just sit there?
