The demise of Christianity and the Fifth Column of Islamist Fundamentalists

The following information should send chills down the spines of Christians everywhere. Unfortunately there are a large number of ‘spineless’ Christians in this world. The battle lines are being drawn and you must decide on which side you want to be when the hand to hand combat begins.
According to an article by Lisa Miller on page 70 of the August 24/31 edition of Newsweek Magazine: “America is not a Christian nation”. She cites a survey taken in 2008 “76 percent of us continue to identify as Christians (…the lowest percentage in American history)… recent poll data show that conceptually at least we are slowly becoming more like Hindus and less like Christians in the ways we think about God, our selves, each other, and eternity.” To clarify her position she states: "A Hindu believes there are many paths to God. Jesus is one way, the Qur’an is another, yoga practice is a third. None is better than any other; all are equal.”
She points out that: “Americans are no longer buying it.” (the traditional conservative Christian view). “According to a 2008 Pew Forum survey, ‘65 percent of us believe that many religions can lead to eternal life’ – including 37 percent of white evangelicals, the group most likely to believe that salvation is theirs alone.” In addition, “Thirty percent of Americans call themselves ‘spiritual, not religious. According to a 2009Newsweek Poll, up from 24 percent in 2005.” So here, (she states), is another way in which Americans are becoming more Hindu: "24 percent of Americans say they believe in reincarnation, according to a 2008 Harris Poll. According to Diana Eck, professor of comparative religion at Harvard, ' I do think the more spiritual role of religion tends to deemphasize some of the more starkly literal interpretations of the Resurrection.'”
Clearly the message of the Christian Church is falling by the wayside in America and the Gospel of Christ is losing its grip on the American consciousness. Into this ‘void’ comes the Islamist’s world view resulting from immigration by people from countries where Islam is the law. But, America is a country of religious freedom and since most Americans could care less about religion they are not concerned about Islam infusing itself into the American hodge-podge of religious choices. And therein lays the danger!
It is generally agreed there is a militant element in Islamic teaching and as far as they’re concerned everyone must become a Muslim; by whatever means necessary. Into the void of luke-warm Christianity that is found in many nations an army is on the advance; this Army is militant Islam. Many do not see this ‘invasion’ because the Muslim militants are using a tried and true military tactic – a fifth column.
A Fifth Column is defined as: a group of secret … supporters of an enemy that engages in espionage or sabotage within defense lines or national borders. Need I mention the various Terrorist acts perpetrated by militant Islamists all around the World? Recall the events of September 11, 2001! I can hear you saying ‘all well and good, but where is the espionage?’ The answer is right before you, in plain sight, within the walls of Mosques all across America and within the Muslim communities in many American cities – both large and small.
Wake up! I’m calling on all Christians to educate yourselves and your neighbors about this ‘hidden agenda’ which is rapidly infiltrating America. Our very Freedoms depend on us to spread the word, like Paul Revere did – except this time it’s not the British. If you’re paying any attention to the news you’ve heard of Sharia Law being imposed on Muslims here in America and they aim to impose it on all of us. Don’t let them! Fight back with the ‘holy sword’ of the Gospel. To do otherwise is to deny Christ as Savior
